Life beyond our programmes
Our programmes are designed around mental and physical wellbeing, confidence, emotional regulation, connection and resilience. These are widely recognised as key foundations for people re-engaging with work, education and community life. Participants go on to return to work, take up education and reconnect with their communities after completing our programmes.
Return to work
Rebuilding the confidence and stability to re-enter employment.
Return to education
Supporting people to re-engage with learning and training.
Community reconnection
Rebuilding social connection, purpose and belonging.
Who we work with
People are referred into our programmes through a range of trusted pathways, including:
Carers organisations
Including local carer support services, referring unpaid carers into our carers-specific programmes.
Clinical and recovery teams
Working alongside clinical services and recovery pathways to support people alongside existing care.
Local authorities and community organisations
Delivering commissioned programmes that support wellbeing, confidence and community connection.
Commissioning and partnership
We deliver programmes through a mix of grant funding, commissioned contracts and consortium delivery. Whether you're a commissioner looking to fund a programme, or an organisation exploring a delivery partnership, we'd welcome the conversation.
We're happy to discuss funding routes, delivery models, and how our programmes could be shaped around your community's needs.
We're proud members of the VCFSE Mental Health Collective and the Health Equity Network, connecting us with a wider community of organisations working towards shared health and wellbeing outcomes.
Discuss a partnershipCurrent procurement activity
Somaia is actively engaging with regional work and health procurement frameworks, and welcomes conversations with organisations exploring consortium or delivery partnerships in this space.
